Two days ago, my team mate Anthony and I visited the Kaneda Community Center in Kisarazu City to check the rooms where we will host an monthly English Conversation event called “Bridge International Café” (BI Café). This community center is a beautiful, brand new building built only four years ago. Then, I put some flyers of my English conversation clubs there. Six native English speakers in my team will be involved in this outreach event as English teachers, and I will serve as the MC. I expect twenty local people to join it. I believe that God will bring 20 local people to our event, so that we could get to know them and build relationship with them. The first BI Café will be held there on February 25th, Saturday for our church planting there. And after we left the center, we visited Panada Express, an Chinese American fast-food restaurant in Mitsui Outlet Park, the biggest shopping mall in Japan, located just in front of the community center. We talked with Mao, the manager of the restaurant and gave her my ECC flyer. I hope she can join my club in the future.
